Meeting bell hooks

I took time to watch some of the videos in the DS1 course listing and discovered a gem – I met bell hooks. This was a ‘fan girl’ moment – listening to the gifted thinker talking about using “popular culture as a primary pedagogical medium as a means to understand the politics of difference”. This video digs into the power of critical thinking as a mechanism for personal transformation, which resonates for me, not only personally, but professionally.

So I went looking for more – and I found a long chain of videos and chats with bell hooks. This will keep me sustained for some time! Thanks DS1!
