Mapping my dissertation

I’ve been thinking about all the threads that link within and among the theories, ontologies, epistemologies, research methodologies and topics that weave together for my dissertation planning. It was becoming mind boggling to think about which threads came from where, and who was connected to those threads – theorists, thinkers, researchers, doers. So I took some time today to continue working on a map that I had started in my directed study course last spring.

Here’s what I’ve got so far, with more additions, deletions, iterations to come.

Since I’ve created this map using a social media form of concept mapping [Mindomo], you can take a look and interact with the map since there are several hyperlinks embedded to videos, websites, and blog posts that connect to these conceptions – the nodes on the map.
