What did I do?

Today, I’m revisiting my application forms, the program booklet, the course requirements, fees and funding options, while looking critically at this daunting monster of a thing I’ve applied to do. It’s sort of like the after party, looking back and asking yourself… ‘what did I do?’ Not that I’m doubting or even questioning, but more reflecting on why I applied and what I’m hoping to achieve. It’s like looking at the date you’ll run a marathon, knowing there’s a lot of hard work to accomplish that feat of athleticism without even knowing what you’ll be asked to do between here (today) and there (tomorrow). Now that I’ve done all that, I can go ahead and push the respond button on the email to accept and move forward. One small step, one big decision, one part of a longer journey into the unknown.
