Sharing a Template
In order to get myself organized for the reading and reflecting that is required for the upcoming course, I’ve devised a template to schedule the readings for the days they’ll be required, organized them both chronologically and alphabetically. Within this template I’ve embedded the required Four Sentence Clarity of Purpose to help keep everything organized and in one place. I started using the template and quickly realized some adjustments that would help structure my thinking. I revisited the clarity of purpose information, as well as a few other resources found in the D2L first module, to make some necessary changes to help me think, read and write like an academic.
I then realized that this work I’ve done could be helpful to others who are entering into this program and course, so decided to share these templates with classmates using the D2L email system. I’ll continue using them, making some further minor adaptations, and then send them out later this week (based on feedback from the course instructor). One organizational tool done! Many more to go!
