Zotero Groups
Here are some directions and information about Zotero Groups for my PhD cohort. I’ll invite anyone into the group who would like to use this added benefit to your PhD work. I know not all our research will fall into the same categories or even areas of interest, but there may be research articles or common areas that we’ll all need to learn about. This will allow us to share with anyone in the group.
This video shows some of the basics that I have already done in order to set up the group for our PhD cohort, but there is some information about getting into the group.
The benefits and ways to collaborate in the group library in Zotero.
And one more video to get more information about using Zotero generally since this will help us learn more about managing the sources we collect together in our group folders in Zotero.
This is a beginning of collaboration for common research collection. Hoping this will help us help each other share and work efficiently.
In our group folder, as of today, there are five general folders that may apply to any one of us. You will be able to add other folders that you think the group may find helpful. If you have articles in your own Zotero, you can drag and drop them into one of these group folders. In the Field of Study folder, I’ve put three folders one for each field of study.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
Your own Zotero collection IS NOT SEEN or ACCESSED by anyone in the group. Only the group files can be read by others in the group.
Hopefully you’ll find this helpful and so I encourage you to share resources that may be helpful to others in our group.
