Stories shared

Today I took some time to watch a few of the stories told by PhD candidates about their SSHRC funded projects. This is part of the upcoming DSI course reading/viewing list. As I viewed these stories, I considered how these would compare to my story – when I’ve crafted the plot line, characters, and sequence of events. Since these share stories are a succinct synopsis, in under three minutes, of their dissertation research, it’s amazing to see how their stories are captured, shared and revealed. I’m noticing that the style of storytelling is very much representative of the individual and the project. Something to consider for my future storytelling experiences. Here’s the full story listing, SSHRC-CRSH on YouTube.

Here are a few of the ones that caught my attention.
